With the example of Christian Science practitioners in her family and the many healings she experienced and witnessed first hand, she knew at an early age that she wanted to devote her life to serving the Cause of Christian Science. She grew up in New York City and Wilton, Conn. After graduating from Principa College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, she moved to Boston and worked for Longyear Museum where she gained a deep appreciation for the early workers and history of the Christian Science movement. From Boston, she moved to Mount Pleasant, SC where she was first listed in The Christian Science Journal as a practitioner of Christian Science healing in 2011. Over the past several years, in addition to her full-time practice, Chrissie has worked remotely for The Mother Church and the Christian Science Publishing Society. Since 2012 she has worked for the Bible-Lesson Products department in adminstrative and editorial processing of the weekly Christian Science Bible-Lesson Sermon. She currently lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband Andrew Heining. They are both active members of Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist, Washington D.C., in Georgetown.
